August 15 2022 is celebrated by every Indian. It was very difficult for India to gain independence from British rule. However, our leaders, freedom fighters and citizens all joined the freedom movement and were gaining independence. "Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru" Prime Minister of India, hoisted the national flag at the Lahore Gate of the Red Fort in Delhi, he is the first Prime Minister of India.
August 15, also known as Independence Day, is a national holiday that means all state and government offices, schools, private offices and banks in India are closed. Even some big and small shops and other businesses celebrate this holiday.
